EVALUATION

I think that my front cover and contents page are quite succesful as a magazine. I think that the colour scheme, and design and look of the pages worked quite well, and is quite different to other magazines. Also I believe that the magazine would stand out compared to other magazines, and the content involved with it is relevant. It also follows the theme of the East Norfolk Sixth Form College colours (orange and blue). I think not using capital letters as well, adds a more informal theme to the magazine, which would appeal more to the selected audience. I also feel that it would attract a good student fan base, as it's the sort of magazine that I feel would attract students at East Norfolk and possibly other students as well. I also feel that the layout of my contents page is very effective, as the articles and regulars are seperated, and also that the text is spread out around the main images, which i think looks really effective, and also with the different coloured and sized text throughout, i feel this continues the informal theme, and continues to make the magazine look really good.
Throughout the course of making my college magazine, I have learnt valuable skills in photoshop, like how to use many of the features on the programme. This will be very valuable when I come onto making my music magazine, as i will most probably need to edit photos, text etc. So now I feel that I would be able to do this.
